Well, they're not great whites, but they are big. The Georgia Aquarium has whale sharks that you can view from an underwater tunnel and a large window wall as well.

At the Sea Life Centre in Birmingham, you can go down in a lift and then walk through a VERY thick glass tunnel surrounded by small sharks, rays and all sorts. They are all around and above you. It's amazing!

Yes, have done so at the Aquarium in Cape Town and Sea World in Orlando. It is a great experience because you know that you are completely safe whilst being only inches away from an efficient killing machine. In South Africa you can go down in a diver's cage into the sea off the Cape coast to view Great Whites in the wild -I haven't done it but a family member has, who says it was awesome.

As long as it was a very thick glass tunnel!! I think they are truly amazing creatures that should and need to get more respect than they do. Long live Great White Sharks!! x

Yes, but great white sharks can't be kept in captivity because they need to be able to roam over large distances and a tunnel in the middle of the ocean would seem to be rather impractical, especially since there wouldn't be a guarantee to see great whites at any point anyway.
