Ninjas are better than pirates mainly because they have had proper combat and espionage training while pirates essentially teach themselves how to fight. The average ninja could pwn the average pirate. The cool thing is that ninjas and pirates still exist to this day. A modern-day ninja like your boyfriend could school a common pirate, but I think pirates nowadays carry firearms...

Well, ninjas are assassins and pirates are more rogues, so there's a difference. Overall, ninjas were extremely trained, where pirates usually were not, so I would choose the ninja as winning a fight/killing. However, pirates would probably know better how to barter and con, so in a game of wits I'd choose the pirate.

For me ninjas are better than pirates. Because pirates specializes in treasure hunting. While ninjas are trained to fight! And I think ninjas are cool!
