You are going to need a battery, some wire, a light bulb, and a trip to the library to find a picture.

Get a small lightbulb, a paperclip and a size D battery. Bend the clip so that it touches both the positve and negative part of the battery. NOw put your lightbulbon the positive end of the battery and lift the paperclip up slightly so that it is touching just below the glass. The bulb should light up because you have an electrical circuit. Also if you do it wrong the paperclip will get very hot because you are completing a circuit but not using the energy for anything other than heat.

like an electrical circuit?
when you turn a light on then you are making a circuit... when you push a key on your keyboard you are making a circuit... a circuit is just a flow of current. If you wanted to make a model of a circuit just get a battery and the light bulb from a flashlight and run some wires between the two, bam! circuit

a circuit is basically a closed flow of volts and ohms, so take some copper wire, a battery, and an electrical device (fan, lightbulb, siren, etc). cut the wire into two, place one end of a wire on the elecrical device and an end of the electrical. Then place the ends of the other copper wire on other end of the electrical device and the opposite side of the battery.

take a battery and two wires, and hook one wire to the bottom of battery and one to the top and touch the tips of the wires. When you get shocked or shock your class then your circuit is done!
