First off...that's not a very good teacher if they won't help you to understand! I took a Shakespere class in high school, and we studied Romeo and Juliet. I don't remember the play exactly, but I would interpret those phrases to mean lovers who fight (brawling love) and and people who love eachother very much, but have a hatred between them, like a really bad fight or something like that. They are mad at each other over something (loving hate). I hope this helps.

It's any two words that go together somehow even though they have opposite meanings. A brawling love would be like when 2 people love each other passionately but they fight alot too, sort of like Eminem and that wack ex wife of his. Does that help?

brawling love probably means something like tumultuous love or very heated, passionate love (brawling means fighting)

Loving hate... depends on how it's used in the sentence
