I was wondering if I may be pregnant. We had unprotected sex just on week ago today. I know that this may seem early, but I have been having ALOT of lower back pain, and my breast feel much larger, and sore to the touch, also I have excessive gas. Today I was examining my breast, and noticed that a clear liquid comes out of my nipple's. Like I said before we had unprotected intercourse at least three times in the past one week, each day hit a fertilized day, and then my ovulation day. I would appreciate any thoughts that anyone could offer to me on this. My family planning clinic told me that it could be a possibility, but told me I should wait till a missed period. Which sounds logical to me, however I want to know if anyone has had similar experiences like mine.

I really do appreciate all the responses to my question. I wanted to mention this too. You know when you breastfeed, and if you miss a feeding your breast become very full, or hard. You would then try to manually soften them by massaging them, and allowing some excess fluid to come out. Well that is exactly what I had done, actually it took just one time of pushing down on them, and the fluid actually squirted out from many positions. It reminded me of when I had breastfed my kids. This is what is happening as of now. I am going to my physician very soon, just incase there could be another problem. Look fwd to all your responses. Thanks again.

Indeed I have. Low back pain, sore breasts that leaked, hunger changes, bloating, and constant gas. I took a pregnancy test 1 week after these symptoms started with me and now I'm 35 wks pregnant about to have a beautiful little girl.

I don't think that's a normal symptom at this time. As you get later on into a pregnancy it is common to leak clear fluid from your breasts, called colostrum, which is initial nourishment for the baby. However, your other symptoms could be signs that you are....the worst part about early pregnancy symptoms is that they are the same as PMS ones....I always thought that was cruel when you are watching and waiting. Best thing to do is take a test once you miss your period. Although you can request a blood test earlier than that to find out a bit sooner. Best of luck to you!

One week is too early to have any symptoms. And fluid coming from your nipple isn't a sign of pregnancy at all. There would be no fluid there to come out. If that is true, you need to see a doctor to see what fluid is doing there. Many times people who want to be pregnant so bad that their body plays tricks on them and they think they are having symptoms. Some women have no symptoms at all. If you do have symptoms it won't come for at least a week or 2.

I know your body has sweat glands in your nipples, (sounds gross right?)

Technical terms: Apocrine glands. They occur in the axillae, areola and nipples of breasts, umbilicus, around the anus and the genitalia. Their glandular portion is very large and may measure 3 mm to 5 mm in diameter (the eccrine glands being only 0.3 to 0.4 mm in diameter). The myo-epithelial cells are highly developed and more abundant in these glands. They are specialized sweat glands, and their secretion is odoriferous with a secondary sexual significance (pheromone).

That's probably all it is! If your pregnant it's still a little early for leaky nipples! Good luck, if your trying to get pregnant though!

I would wait till you miss your period, and it really isn't unusual to have a clear fluid coming out of your nipples around your period....tenderness in your breast could be that you are about to begin your cycle for the month.....sounds like you are wishful thinking.
