Unfortunately, KoRn has followed what many bands already have done... they start heavy as fuc* when they are new, get a taste of mainstream success, then seeing they sold out they try being their old selves again and it comes out terrible. I really haven't heard anything from them that had me impressed since Follow The Leader, although a few songs on Untouchables weren't bad.
As for the acoustic set, SOME heavy bands can pull it off since they are more melodic, like Metallica, Staind, Alice In Chains etc... KoRn just simply is not one of them in my opinion.

Korn were ALWAYS sellouts...... crappy nu metal rubbish, made for commercial gain alone, appeling to depressed teen masses...
korn are a horrible band
and the unplugged album is probably the best thing theyve ever done with their embarrassing careers...
listen to some real metal man, and give up this rubbish.

Alice in Chains Unplugged... somewhat tugs at my heartstrings BQ: Nope... Lead guitar, 2d guitar, bass, drums, and vocals ... compared to those different "holy $h1t, they're playing their music with acoustic guitarzors and cellos and violons!!!" unplugged shows, AiC Unplugged purely sounds like "An Intimate evening with The Worlds best Grunge Band". well fundamentally Korn sucks, therefore everything they do is crappy. As far as selling out goes they "sold out" years ago.
