Oh where do you want me to start? you know what i cant stand those norton finance loan ads in the morning before trisha starts, how depressing...then its downhill from there...frigging hell and the picture the loan advert, whats all that about? when do partners film their husband while he talks on a phone to an adviser, that is just warped lol!! ok so its more than one ad but you get the jist!! also those marks and spencer adverts, this isnt an ordinary potatoe, its a marks and spencer potatoe, whoopee flaming do, and i went into virgin megastores today and the annoying slow tune in the background that plays in the m and s ad was playing through the store, i had a field day describing various albums with the so called seductive tone.. i swear im going mad!!

The type of advert that associates food with gore. Exel chewing gum shows a man's head break away from his neck after eating piece of Exel ice gum. Exel also has a giant gorilla eat and swallow a woman. I also find most annoying ads that associate toilet paper with bears, or food with spiders. The current generation of ad writers are illiterates who think that putting together two ideas that clash is a humorous and memorable way of making a point about your product.

At the moment in Canada, for me it is those stupid FutureShop "Best Dad Ever" commercials.
A couple goes into the store and ask the clerk where they can find the "YOUR THE BEST DAD EVER!". They shop around saying things their kids might say as they open the gifts, then find the best dad ever gift. There is a second version where the guy is shopping for his wife, that's just as annoying as the store clerk starts hugging the guy as if it were his wife.

I don't like the car commercial (Lexus maybe?) where the "father" is picking up his little girl (from school) and she's talking a blue streak, hardly taking time to inhale before she's got the next work out. I'd have to gag a kid like that. Plus I don't understand the commercial (it ends with "who would you give a [Lexus] to?").

Countrywide for their second mortgages. Geez 5 or 6 commercials on during the buffy reruns....i mean how many homeowners watch buffy. Well, alright, i own a mobile home, but hey, they don't give second mortgages on mobile homes without any land.
