Are you working? Good question. (My guess would be) Spousal support is based off the difference in salary between the spouses. If his disability was the main source of income and she did not work, I would say yes. Just a guess though, check with your county family court office they could probably give you a better educated guess since they see all types of cases. Although since most disability checks are very low also I can't imagine that you would get a whole lot.

If you are a woman and you have kids with the person who's receiving disability, you can get a check cut off of his for each child and i really don't know if they going to reward you spousal support.

You can ask for anything in a divorce, but if you will get it is something else. They can order things to be pulled out of disability such as child support so it could be possible that you could achieve that.

Only the judge can make an order on that...it can be suggested and it all depends on the circumstances and it will ultimately be the judge's decision, which can be appealed nevertheless.
