I leave mine open. I dont like leaving it closed. I have kids and I want to make sure I can hear if they need me. I keep their doors slightly open too.

Well, for one thing, it is a fire hazard. You could die from smoke inhalation before u ever knew there was a fire if the door was open. Also, privacy is an issue. And, fear. I certainly wanna know if someone enters my room if I am asleep. (I would hear the door open)

I hate noise while I'm sleeping so I keep it closed. I also keep it closed at night so that my two cats, Mouse and Jasmine, can't come and lock themselves in.
