Because after the first thing happened, psychologically you're looking and waiting and just knowing that other things will go wrong too. If you're optimistic about it, it won't seem so bad.

Everything's cyclic you know. I think it's not that bad a thing, though. That way you can get rid of all the bad stuff at the same time, and have good times when it's done, instead of always having something going a little wrong.

i def know where you are coming from. i think that it may have something to do with the energy surrounding you. i know that sounds kind of dumb and weird but it is the best that i can come up with. how else can you explain when you get yelled at work, then you get a flat tire, you finally get home and the dog has barfed on the carpet. i thought it was karma for a while, but crappy things still happen even when you dont think that you deserve it.

When something goes wrong, it's hard to look at something in a positive light.
On a good day forgetting your homowork assignment would be annoying but not the end of the world.
On a bad forgetting your homoework assignment WOULD be the end of the world.
It's all how you look at things.

Because you have something go wrong and then you know something else is going to go wrong because you are already in a bad mood so that is why. You have to always bring yourself up when your feeling down and something happend that way you are positive or at least pretty darn sure that nothing else will happen! :)

Actually its all in the way you look at things.
When one thing goes wrong, you just happen to notice (more often) other things that normally wouldn't catch your attention go wrong.

yeah, i'm not sure...it's one of those mysteries in life i think.
maybe it's b/c you are already negative about the first bad thing, so that puts that energy out there and other negative energy attracts to it???
or else, the universe wants us to lighten up a bit and take things in stride and so it piles it up until we smile and say "such is life...i'll get through this!!!"
take care and happy holidays!
