In regards to me inquiring about a drivers liscense some people were very nice but some were jerks (and you know exactly who you are)If you were reading correctly(If you can read) I never had my licsence in my life. I used to live in Wash. DC until I was 25 years old, then I came to NC, down here you need to drive, In DC you do not,( IF you DO NOT WANT TO).People need to stop being so mean and be more pleasant and polite. Is that at all possible to be more considerate of other peoples feelings?

Adrienne, This has nothing to do with this question but another one you ask that is not accepting new answer It is the one about Christmas and what to do if you do not have a lot of money.

There is no way to contact you other then this so I wanted to let you know that we have written about this for Shattered Men and have given some practical suggestions on what you can do. Please e-mail me and I will send you a copy of it

As an essentially free speech forum, you entered a public realm and asked a question of a public that is diverse and wide. As such, you will naturally receive a range of answers reflective of the diversity of world culture; some people having good or bad days, some with preconceptions and assumptions, some less tolerant of grammer or spelling errors (i.e. your ongoing misspelling of "licenses") and some who are just disgruntled as a way of life. THIS very question is an exercise in free speech, proving the point that Free Speech Begets More Free Speech. So enjoy the freedom and revel in the diversity without worrying so much what others think or say to or about you. Take the best and toss the rest.

People on Yahoo! Answers are just reflecting what they are like in real life. Sarcasm can be expected, but meanness is never acceptible.

Unless, of course, the question is mean to begin with, then all's game with the answers.

I always try to be nice unless the asker is a rude bugger.

This is a public site and like they say: THE MASSES ARE ASSES!! There's a lot of jerks and a lot of good answerers. You'll just have to sift through the answers you get for the good ones. Don't take it personally. Most of the rude answers are from some bored kid who is looking for attention.

Why would someone be mean about a driver's license?

Just think... you just wasted points asking a question about those "jerks".

Because it's fun and an easy way to pick up a couple of points.
