I think it is horrible. They slaughter those animals just for their pelts. Atleast with leather, most of the animal is used for food as well.

I don't believe in indangering a species by killing them all off. On the other hand wearing an animals fur is still really just loving and caring for the little creature after he is gone. I think it is okay.

in my opinion, fur isnt the best. the way they make fur is sad because the animal cannot be dead otherwise the fur becomes stiff. did you know.. it takes over 150 chinchillas to make a waist-length chinchilla coat?? pretty sad considering that they used to and still might raise them in these tiny cages then either skin them alive or kill them and immediately skin them. plus they only take a certain portion of the fur... :(

I think ....if you don't have a problem wearing fur then wear it, if you do have a problem with wearing fur then don't, but leave those who do alone.

fake fur now if you shot an animal for meat then by all means use the fur other wise go imitation.

I LOVE FUR!!! just not real, i couldnt think of anyone wanting to kill an animal for themselves (im not saying im an animal freak tho!).

I think it's unnecessary with all the technology and fibers we have now. It's gross because it's like wearing someone else's hair all over you. I'm allergic to animal fiber. It's outdated and looks silly/stupid. I am an omnivore, so leather is different for me.
If I could wear it, I wouldn't. It's nasty!

I think it is wrong. You shouldn't wear an animal! How would you like it if your friend was killed and worn as clothing?!?! I think wearing fake fur is okay, but when you kill an innocent animal just so you can make name-brand clothing, that's just wrong.

Unneccesary harm to animals. I am against any form of real fur and the destruction of animals for fashion.
