Holy Crap!!!! Out of all the things you could do you had to sleep on your belly!!!!
No I am kidding.
Seriously though how were you able to balance? Goodness. When my sister was pregnant this summer she looked like she was hiding a weather balloon. How in the world do you sleep on that?

I doubt very much that you hurt the baby in any way. Do you still feel regular movement? That's one good sign things are just fine. I am 37 weeks along....I was very concerned with sleeping position and was told by my OB that if the baby or myself wasn't getting adequate oxygen because of my position, I would wake up and move on my own. Since then I've stopped stressing...I've woken up flat on my back, half on my stomach....etc, even though I start on my left side. Baby is probably fine...they are pretty well protected in there!

I don't believe that you could have hurt your baby at all. There is a very thick wall of skin, tissue and fat between the couch and the baby. Also the baby is protected in your belly inside the "bubble" of amniotic fluid that she can float around in regardless of your position. Don't worry...I know she/he is fine.

No, I think you and the baby should be fine. Call the Dr. and see if he wants you to come in, just to check. Is the baby still moving around like normal? If so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Good luck.

do you feel the baby kick??? Is the baby still kicking and making movements??
I would call my obgyn just to be on the safe side. You can always go in to get a ultra sound. I am sure though you are just worrying for nothing but it is better to be safe than unsure.
Good LUck to you!!!

You're fine. I did that quite a few times with my first child. She is totally fine now!
But...it is a completely normal thing to freak out. Your baby is very protected right now. Unless you fall hard, belly first, on something, you should be fine.

You have nothing to worry about. Your baby is very well protected inside your stomach. If you are VERY concerned, then call your ob\gyn, and ask them what the concerns are with you having slept on your stomach if there are any.

It is ok. Your body prompts you to either roll back over or wake up before any harm can be done to the baby. Sounds like your body did its job!
