Have you been screened for depression, dehydration, or pregnacy? If not, get those things checked out.

First off, have a good checkup from your doctor to rule out any organic causes (disease, anemia, etc. Also have him check you for depression. Wanting to sleep a lot can be a sign of depression) If there is no physical or emotional cause, then there are several things that will work if you are willing to do them (I am 53, in excellent shape, home, kids, job, etc.) and follow all of these myself.
Start the day off right with a really good, well-balanced breakfast. ( Include a multi-vitamin, or B-Complex and C---the B vitamins really boost energy)
Do not stay up past 10:00 at night, and set your alarm if you must to get up no later than 7:00 ( earlier or later depending up your job, if you have one)
Add some sort of daily exercise. Keep it simple if you must, with 30 minutes of walking everyday---you will be astounded at how this boosts your energy level.
Eat a well-balanced lunch and dinner
Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated---many people feel tired all day and their main problem is dehydration (keep a glass or bottle of water on your desk all day if needed, but get a minimum of 6 glasses a day, and more is even better)
Take a few minutes of every day to meditate, listen to music, or any other activity that relaxes you and makes you feel good.
Develop a hobby or interest outside of work

if you have swollen knots on the side of your neck or under your armpits you may have mono but you'd probably know if you did but still if you've been feeling sick get checked out.
cut your sleep back to a 8 hour maximum per night and take vitamin c and B-12. they are both good for your immune system and energy. you can find them at walgreens or wal-mart and they are cheap but make sure you read the directions and don't take too much
lots o f kids O.D. on those flintstones vitamins every year because of the iron in them so too much of any one thing is a bad thing
just mke sure you read the damn instructions

You should consult your doctor about your sleepiness. It is possible you may have a serious problem. Not having energy and being dizzie are two signs of illness. Just to be on the safe side see your doctor. Don't just assume you are over worked.

Taking something can get you energized for a short amount of time but will end up making you crash when it wears off. Try ginsing anything; vitamins, cola, whatever. I would also see a doctor, might be the type of sleep you're getting. If you sleep a lot but aren't falling into a deep enough sleep, you won't be well rested. Good luck!

Doesn't sound so much nutrition as it does sleep cycle.
The key to getting to bed early is to force yourself to wake up early. If you sleep in to 1pm then you won't be able to go to bed at 10 or 11 that night.
A steady sleep cycle will do a lot of good for your energy.
Also, working out - running and weight training, will INCREASE your energy and you will start to feel much sharper.

Take a trip to your doctors office, you may have have a low grade virus zapping your energy, or some other problem you are not aware of. If you are prediabetic and dont know it ,your diet may be effecting your energy levels.

It sounds like you are lacking vitamins. Either a multivitamin or a B Complex supplement. I works for me!
