I am trying to not freak out, but the past two days, I have noticied a few tiny spots of drainage on my underwear. The drainage is sort of pink-brown in color. Has anyone experienced this? Should I be concerned? I already called my doctor, but she is in surgery so I won't hear from her until tomorrow. Thanks

It is normal AS LONG AS there is no cramping. I would still call the doctor though...5 weeks is still in that time frame where you need to be super careful and neurotic about stuff, even if it's more than likely nothing.

No bleeding is normal-mine started out that way with my 1st pregnancy and I had a misscarriage.Go to the ER to get checked just to be sure. They can do blood work to make sure your pregnancy levels are not going down.
On a happy note-I also did bleed some with my other 2 pregnancy's and the babies were just fine.I just had to go on light bed rest for about a month.

well I am sure that you can call any local hospital and ask them for the labor/triage dept and ask them exactly what is going on with you.

What it sounds like you are experiencing is called spotting...which is called implantation bleeding. That is completely normal. But like I said....you should definitely get it checked out and definitely don't take my word on it.

I wish you all the luck and congrats to you. :)

ive got 5 and yes its alright to have a little spotting for the first few months, as long as it isnt heavy or bright red, or if it is followed by severe cramping. good luck

That can possibly mean a miscarriage. If you are having bad cramps I would go to your doctor. I hope that everything is all right.
