fossilized dinosaur poo, a flea market find, etc... And did you try to turn it in to the police first, or did you just keep and/or sell it?

I found a plastic hard shell case in the middle of my street, inside was a nice Craftsman 19.2 volt drill, with two batteries and a charger and some bits. I made posters of it with my contact information and put them up all around my neighborhood, but no one came to claim it after a month, so I kept it.

I found a wallet in the women's restroom of a local movie theater a few years ago. It was chuck full of money (cash) and credit cards not mention the owners drivers license.

I turned it into the manager of the theater. It wasn't mine, so I didn't
keep it.

This may sound corny but I found a rubber ball at a park, took it home and now it's the only toy my dog will play with. Everyday she will bring it to me so we can play. Of all the money, tools, cd. and even 2 cell phones I have found, the ball was the best.
