Disagree.
1) I download the music to get a little sample, and if i like it, then I'll buy the whole CD.
2) The only reason the Gov. is saying it's a crime is because the artists dont get their money. Well, in my opinion, they are rich enough. Let the PEOPLE make the choice.
3) And last but not least, if the Gov. is soooo mad about this, why dont they take action to take away all the download music sites? If they can nail sex offenders online, they can sure e-mail kazaa/limewire and all those others and make them stop. They are the GOVERNMENT.
Seems wierd to me, but I download music all the time. Never gotten introuble.

I agree
1st.: That is the way the law(s) reads.
2nd: If you spent possibility millions of dollars to produce a movie, music etc. you would want to regroup your money u spent out and possibility earn a profit-That applies to a lot of things.
3rd: To keep the industry going this law and simular ones insures that. Stealing in any amount is still stealing and that, even you, do not like.

I agree with them. The people that make/sell the movies/music work very hard to it. It's not fair if regular people, who have done nothing, just come and take their song's without permission. They have no right. Either pay for it or don't get it at all.

I'm neutral on this subject . but i do think it's a crime against the very peoples who make a living making these movies and music Cd's it's stealing their livelihood away from them when you download their product with out their permission

It's protected under copyright law as intellectual property. That means to download with providing compensation is theft.
