Because when your the RIAA you can sue anyone and make your own laws. Honestly, I agree with you, this is a bunch of BS. Most of the tabs written for mysongbook.com are handmade by the community, but apparently the RIAA doesn't think so. I guess they label it as intellectual rights or something similar but in reality it's nobodys rights because music should be free in the first place, next thing you know it will be illegal for you to play a A chord followed by a Dm chord on your guitar because it sounds to similar to artist A & B.

prolly 'cos a someone wrote the tabs and someone gets them and puts them on the Internet, although sometimes the artists them selves put them on the Internet
