why are you all trying to be one and the same???? we are not the same for heavens sake! our cultures are different - our physical appearances are different - why cant we all just get along and acknowledge that yes we are different but its ok!!! whats wrong with being different? wouldnt it be a boring world if we were all the same??? just dont get blacks wanting to "act white" - whites "acting black" why cant you stop acting? just be you - enjoy what you enjoy (not what others say is cool) let me give you an example - i have really good mates who are black - we get on like a house on fire - and i am a white "goth" vampire loving freak lol and they are into the whole urban/ghetto/gangster thing - but what unites us is the differences in our lives - we learn from each other and above all we happen to like each other based on what kind of people we are inside - like i said i am white so am i supposed to stick around with nasty people just coz they are white?? anyone here agree????

The only possible way thats going to happen is to kill every racist person whether they are black, white, asian, whatever. Seriously though, the human mind is very weird. only a smal percentage (I mean very small) of racist people actually hate a race(s) from there own decision. The larger percent of people are taught by there ignorant parents to hate and that is how it is passsed on. Maybe in a couple of centuries after the world has nuked itself and there are only a few reasonable people left, that everyone could live together equally.

I agree that we should value our differences, but I disagree with you that people should or shouldn't act a certain way based on their race. If someone black is onto goth or rock or Tudor English history, why shouldn't they explore that? If someone white is into rap or Bob Marley or African history, why should they be considered "acting black" if they explore those interests? If anything, people should be encouraged to explore and sample the cultural expressions of groups other than their own.
Each person should be free to explore whatever cultural expressions he or she wants and we should all respect those choices - regardless of race.

I agree. Color, or lack thereof, does not make a person good or bad, or equal. That is a judgment. What people do is what they are. Classification of a group of people as inferior is usually done as an externalization of fear.
