Is that safe? I'm sure the dryer is a bad idea. What's the best way to clean off cleats? Mine are adidas if that makes any difference...

i usually wash them off in the shower and let them air dry, stuffing newspaper in them helps absorb the water. i see no need for the washing machine - they're just going to get dirty again.

Your best bet would be an organic spray "Simple Green" or if you have to a multi purpose cleaner and a scrub brush. After you have scrubbed them down really good, then take a nice warm damp hand towel over them. I wouldn't recommend the washing machine.
