That too on a HP laptop. Thats what my friend keeps stating. But i can barely believe him. And is clock speed the same thing as FSB?

I am fairly sure he confused the FSB with processor speed, the two are different. AMD processors do NOT have 2000Mhz FSB, because they do not have FSB, they have the HyperTransport system, which is completely different. The highest FSB I have seen is 1333, unless you overclock. The FSB is the speed at which the processor communicates wtih the rest of the system, not just the RAM but they PCI Express and PCI and other things as well.

FSB (or Front Side Bus) and clock speed are two seperate things. The FSB is the speed that data travels from the components in your computer to the processor. The FSB can be upto 2000mhz or 2ghz on some AMD processors, however this is more commonly seen in desktops, not laptops. The clock speed is how fast the processor can handle data. Most likely he has mistaken what a FSB and processor speed is.

Clock speed and FSB are very different. The clock speed is the actual speed the CPU processes. The FSB is the speed in which the CPU communicates with the RAM (200, 333, 533, 800, etc.).
