I think what you are suggesting here is what we call in the security industry as a "burglar killer" & I am afraid that they are highly illegal. Sometimes I wish they weren't but unfortunately, even the police frown on us trying to kill burglars on purpose.
I am in the security business & we do have a way of wiring up window screens so we can detect an intruder when he tries to cut or remove the screen. But it is designed to detect an intruder, not electrocute him.
The good part is, that if you connect the type of screen I am talking about to a viable alarm system, you can have the alarm going off & scaring a burglar away, BEFORE he even gets inside your home.
Visit this site to see what I mean. http://www.micronsecurityproducts.com/_mnweb/Catalogue/MNetCatalogue.aspx?Guid=d9c7ca37-f773-4f4d-b4b1-8c7dcd888bf3&OwnerID=796&CatalogueName=Default&ParentID=34711&ViewMode=Icon&NavMode=ShowingItem&ItemID=64272&DisplayMap=no
These guys might not be in your area, but there are several companies in North America who do the same thing, so contact your nearest alarm dealer, & ask about window screens for your alarm system.
Cheers

It is technically possible to insulate ans isolate the screens so that you can live in the mobile home. Don't even try. If you make a mistake you could end up a crispy critter or with a pile of ashes for a home. If done correctly you would be liable for any injury caused even though they are illegally breaking into your house. You would be much better off with a burglar alarm that notifies the police. A neighborhood watch also works wonders but only in a neighborhood that cares.

In the United States, it's illegal to "booby trap" your home. If someone (the criminals) or anyone else were to get hurt--they can sue you!
The only thing that you CAN do is get a security system that is monitored by an agency and will contact the local law enforcement. This usually cost $30 a month and the cost of the system.
WELCOME to US LAW 101!!!

Do Not try this for your own sake.
The alarm system is probably the best answer but you have the monthly expense. A second alternative is to have metal bars installed on the windows. Not pretty but if installed properly they are very effective.

I think you would do better having an alarm system that automatically calls the police.
Many technical problems with electric fencing, to say the least.
Get a taser, as well.
And a cell phone.
Edit:
Motion Sensor lighting outside would help, too.

No, In most States this is illegal and named a "a Set Trap" it's like setting a shot gun on your door, you don't know who's going to open it so, forget it. Some States you can't even put up barbed wire to protect yourself.
At bests you'll have to find out what the laws are, go to a gun shop and get a hand gun. Go to a professional trainer and get trained then, get a license and all the permits required. Remember to shoot after they get in.

It is not legal in any jurisdiction that I know of to set a trap that might harm or kill someone.
Besides, if you live in a metal home, you will electrify the whole thing, and possibly shock yourself or start a fire. Try looking into buying a home security system.

NO, NO, NO, NO,
The mobile home is part of your grounding system. You would be back feeding your 120V plugs. Not the best things on TV and other things like your hair dryer.

Holy crap no! You wouldn't be able to touch a single thing in your whole mobile home. You wouldn't even be able to touch the front door knob to enter into the thing. I empathize, but you gotta find another way.
