Gem! Funny because I am from Michigan. Actually the manufacturing business I work for is closing. I was looking for something more small time to do as a side business while I work a new job.

You can always look the the Sunday classified ads. On the Internet you can download the major newspapers. In some cities you can set up a email alert for certain ads, and they will send you an email then your search comes up. I use Loop net they specialize in commercial properties for sale. Sometimes the company is selling their inventory with the building.

contact a well known company i highly recommend.....smallbusinessconsulting.com. i know most of the people who work there. (they have helped me buy my business and helped me with the financing of the purchase as well). they will point you in the right direction.
