Im on the pill but I missed 1 week (ooppz)... then my boyfriend and I (that have been together for 1 year) had sex after my period... now that week that I missed my pill we had sex....my period is late BUT we used protection???...... could I be pregnant??

I cant get a test cause I dont want my family to know..... so unless you KNOW what ur talkin bout.....

It sounds like you are too young and unmarried to be fooling around.
Hence the fear, embarrassment and guilt.

First, yes... you could be pregnant. There is a chance. If you used a condom, and used it properly, the chances are slim that you are pregnant. But even using the pill correctly 100% of the time you can still become pregnant. So please keep that in mind.
The big thing to keep in mind... if you are a week late it could very well be because your period was thrown out of whack by missing the pill for a week. Your hormones will get all messed up by missing a week and your period could DEFINITELY be late because of that. So don't panic just yet.
Missing a week of the pill will leave you very vulnerable to pregnancy and even after you get back on the pill, your body needs time to catch up to the hormones and be protected from pregnancy. So secondary protection is necessary.

****As for you not getting a test so your family doesn't know, your family does not have to know. You can buy a test, take it in the privacy of the bathroom and then that is that. If you don't want to do that, go to a clinic to take a test. You obviously got the prescription somewhere... go back there to get the test. You can't ingnore this because if you are pregnant the problem just doesn't go away.
Being on the pill for just one month is not going to protect you from pregnancy anyway.... even if you missed a week. And missing a week in your first month basically makes the pill completely ineffective and you need to start all over again.****

young people take the pill without understanding their bodies. You have sex and don't want to get pregnant but if you are where is the responsibility lie there? I think you should be educated about your body and know what you are doing before trying to live in the adult world. Yes you can get pregnant even if you are on the pill and taking it properly. Yes you can get pregnant because you forgot to take the pill. Yes you can get pregnant because the condom isn't a 100% fool prof way of not getting pregnant. If you are pregant what are you going to do about it. You will have to tell your parents anyway.. Wait another month to see if your body straightens out from the missed pills. Make sure you take your pills at the proper time to restart your cycle.

Oh Honey! Yes you could! When you miss a dose, let alone a weeks worth, you cause your hormones to go nuts. It is possible that when you stopped taking the pill, your body released an egg. I would take a pregnancy test ASAP and if you are then CONGRATULATIONS, but if your not, then DON'T MISS ANY MORE PILLS! :) Good luck!

Nope your not pregnant... depending on how long you have been on the pill its not very easy to conceive if you have been taking the pills for years. And if you used a condom too YOU especially are not pregnant.
Sounds like your making yourself full of worry for nothing.

It's not likely, but it is possible. Why not take a test just to set your mind at ease? Lots of things can cause you to be late or even to skip a period.

It is possible. Some of the sign of pregnancy are
-are missed period, fullness or mild ache in your lower abdomen,
-feeling tiered drowsy or faint
-discomfort or tenderness of the breasts
-periods of nausia expecialy in the early morning.
If you have any of these symptoms go to your doctor.

I know this isn't what you are looking for, but if you have sex...protected or NOT...you risk that chance. No birth control is 100% effective. Period.

If you have unprotected sex, you can get pregnant. Simple. Ifyou have to ask this, I suggest you buy a pregnancy test...

There might be and depends if the condom broke (if did, then it slight chance) r just go to doctor and find out for sure
