Escape (the Pina Colada Song) - Rupert Holmes

Here is a good escape song:

"Imaginary" by Evanescence

I linger in the doorway
Our alarm clock screaming
Monster's calling my name
Let me stay
Where the wind will whisper to me
Where the raindrops, as they’re falling, tell a story

[Chorus:]
In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullaby (flowers)
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me (flowers)

Don’t say I’m out of touch
With this rampant chaos - your reality
I know well what lies beyond my sleeping refuge
The nightmare I built my own world to escape

[Chorus]

Swallowed up in the sound of my screaming
Cannot cease for the fear of silent nights
Oh, how I long for the deep sleep dreaming
The goddess of imaginary light

[Chorus]

(Paper flowers)

There is "renegade" by styx

"one day I'll fly away" on the moulin rogue

"i want to break free" by queen

"midnight train to georgia" by gladys knight

now, do you need the actual word escape in there? Cuz these don't... but I could come up with some more if you need the actual word

Umm... weird but the one song that pops in my head right now is Enrique Iglesias' song "Escape" about escaping love, but I am probably sure that is not what you are referring to... However, there is also Nelly Furtado’s, “I’m like a Bird” song.

...Do not ask me why that song came to me either... who knows?

that "Bring me to life" song by evanessance. It lyrics include "save me from the nothing i've become". It disscusses escaping from ones own self.
