I stutter and am clumbsy. I can't remember hardly anything. I forget names and appointments. I can't remember my OB's name or the midwives. It sucks and it drives me insane too. My fiance is in Iraq and when we talk on the phone it gets kind of frustrating because he just laughs at me because I stutter so much. Plus I have lost all my depth perception. You are not alone. My memory loss started at about 5 weeks and I am now 18 and it has gotten worse.
Good luck.

I believe that it happens to every pregnant woman, and don't worry your not going crazy! It is probably do to partially being tired [especially during the first trimester] plus the overwhelming process your body is going through. And it only seems to get worse the more you have...LOL. But then it is just the children that are causing this. I hope this helps and I have listed a link below that explain that you are perfectly normal. Congrats on your new One!!

yes. I am definitely having this problem. I can't remember anything. I've been meaning to take a pair of shoes back that didn't fit my son. Every day I walk right past them and forget them every day. It's been a week now and they are still sitting there.

Yes. When I was depressed. It could mean that you are depressed. Try some therapy. It could also be blood sugar problems (diabetes). Get a physical and get checked for diabetes. I have diabetes and this feeling you describe happens when your blood levels are off. It could also be a reaction to medication. Peace.

Oh, yes! There's even a term for it - "mommy brain" although some "experts" will tell you its not true. Whatever! I felt like a complete airhead throughout my pregnancy. Believe me, you're not alone.
Good Luck with your little one.
