Labor pains feel kind of like you have to take a poop. It's a pain that will start at the abdomen and then progress to you hips and back. If so, go to the hosp. But considering that you are so far along, I would definately call your Dr.

Sounds like you are in Labor. That is what contractions feel like. It is amazing that you have never had mentral cramps. Lucky You. But that is the only way I can describe contractions but 100 times worse. Congrats on the baby..and call your obgyn...Good Luck

Call your Ob and tell him your symptoms.Contractions are consistent at every 3-5 min and they get more intense as time goes on.Use a watch and time them for an hour.If they are doing that pattern then head to the hospital-if there is no pattern-then it is still probably braxton hicks.

That's how I felt right before I started having contractions (which feel like a tightening of your uterus, and it will get firm.). Congratulations, baby will be here soon.

Those can be braxton hix contractions. AKA fake contractions. When you sit down they stop.
