My boss just went, he stayed at The Grand Hotel. It's right on the southern rim, about two miles from the entrance to The Grand Canyon. He said it was the nicest hotel he's ever stayed at. It's sorta rustic, a southwest decorated. It has an indoor pool and continental breakfast too. The number is 938-638-3333, or you can check it out online at:

Spend the night in Las Vegas. Check out early and drive to Grand Canyon. Bring your own bottle water. It's very cold in December... but then again, you're from Canada.

we stopped at Mandalay bay in Vegas absolutely fabulous right beside the airport got a wave machine in the pool and a beach gotta go there need to go to canyon in chopper have champagne lunch have a good time wherever you stay
