Wyoming, Arkansas, Nebraska, Kansas, The whole (farming) middle part of the United States! I would prefer Maine any day over those places.

Maine is pretty bad (lived in Biddeford for a summer). Ogunquit & Portland, ME are not bad though! But I'm guessing the states in the middle of the country are more boring because they have no coastline or ocean beaches.
