It worries me though. This is my second pregnancy and I keep comparing it to the first. I've been told not to do that but, I can't stop. It just worries me because it feels like I shouldn't be bleeding at all.

Well the same happened to me , It was my second pregnancy aswell, and i continued to bleed until i was 5 months along,

It was brownish blood spots, like old blood, and everyday, It wasn't that much maybe a quarter in size, but it was worrisome,

I was told to take progesterone and that would make it better, but it didn't ,

Thankfully my baby was healthy, and everything was fine,

So there really was nothing to worry about , but it still was scarey
especially because it was so diffrent from the first pregnancy, but

I can tell you that My third pregnancy was equally as diffrent from the first and the second, so its true when they say each pregnancy is diffrent,

I think age plays a role personally, because i was older each time,

Good luck and don't worry , your baby is safe and healthy , he/ she will be fine,

Blessings

You can bleed and spot and even have your period when you are pregant....no I"m not making this up!

I would follow your doctor's advice, however, if your spotting turns in to full fleged bleeding, and your soaking thru a maxi pad in less than an hour get to the hospital quick! Also, if you have severe cramping assocaiated with your bleeding--like a vice grip around your back in the areas of your kidneys--call the doctor or go to the hospital to asses if you are having a miscarriage.

Just keep in contact with your doctors office and keep the faith. :)

Hi. sometimes your body is adjusting to you being pregnant. you can spot at the beginning of your pregnancy. If you have dark blood spots everything is fine as long as you dont bleed a large amount. if the spots turn light red go to the hospital immediately. also, try to take it easy and rest during this time. sometimes women have their uterus bleed.

I have been told (i am pregnant too) that around the time you would normaly have your period you might spot. This might be the case. Or if you are having sex, maybe you weren't wet enough and it tore some skin inside you. If you are really worried, i would go to another Doctor and see what they say.

I hope everything goes good!! Good luck!!!

I know women who have spotted during pregnancy and they were told the same thing. The pregnancies and births went fine so I guess it's just one of those things that happens sometimes.

I am 9 weeks pregnant and have spotted several times so far. Normally the spotting is very little and brownish. My doctor also told me it was normal and if it increased or I started to feel strong cramping to call them

As long as the blood is not bright red, and there are no clots you should be fine especially if your doctor told you not to worry. If you have any bright red blood, or clots or pain in your stomach then go to the doctor or ER. Good luck.
