Only moral people can have a moral obligations. Many people believe there is no right or wrong, just what you can get away with. Some of them end up in jail, but most just hang around making the rest of us miserable. Those of us who do feel an obligation too often don't act on it except in times of crisis.

the moral obligation to care for the starving, sick amd destitude should lie with the governmenmts of those countries that DO not feel obliged to care for there own countryman because they want a nice 500 acre palace and buy jets and other military hardware off the US, UK while there people die by the million because quite frankly they just cant be arsed to care

Technically, they does no longer be the position they were with out the harmful and the underclass to help them. i imagine that rich human beings might want to go back the want. i'm no longer preserving throw Benzes and thousands of thousands of funds to human being households, yet would it not somewhat kill them to donate somewhat in the route of training and starvation? If I were rich, it truly is what i'd do. particular they have the right to purchase all of this stuff they don't choose (luxury autos that they in no way stress, huge mansions they have not even considered the best purchase of, and so on.) yet their money will be more effective spent on issues that they choose. That being reported, i visit't tell human beings a thanks to spend their money (If i ought to, this u . s . does no longer be in a recession.). yet so some distance as them having an ethical criminal responsibility, i'd ought to say sure. And their help might want to very last see you later because it truly is needed.

No we don't have a moral obligation. Some of us are blessed with all we could need, and some of us have the heart to share it.

there is no law or morial obligation, that says we should help those in need.we are humans.and if your asking this question then you must be someone that has feelings.and this is why we help, others, for me I feel good when I can help.alot of it has to do with my up bringing.as rich as this country is,there should never be people living on our streets.the choice is yours to make and I feel you will make the right one.pfsonger@sbcglobil.net

yes, you never when your lucky might change, there are a lot of homeless people who were once rich and/or very successful people.
Plus why not, 1% of your earnings could be a lot of money to some people on the brink of death. Cost of one alcoholic drink a week donated to charity ?

If you were ever starving I think you'd know the answer to that. I don't understand how people with so much don't feel bad about people with so little

Of course we do! It's just that the majority of people have become fashionably selfish and usually only care about their own
lives.
Sad but true.
