i want to play my xbox 360 live but i dont know how to do it without a computer

You dont necessarily need a computer to play xbox live, however it is assumed you have one since you do need a broadband internet connection.
So it is still possible for you to play live, you still need to install a high speed broadband internet connection in your house, then plug and play.
Howver most people do it the other way round, they buy an internet connection for there computer then happen to buy an xbox and use that same connection to play live. So you will in fact be paying a monthly charge for your broadband - purely for xbox live, (plus the xbox live fee)

You have to have an ethernet connection. (i.e high speed internet)
You can hook it directly into the 360. Follow Microsoft's instructions for configuration.

My friend has an Ethernet jack in his wall. He just plugs it in to there. You have to get it installed though and it probably costs alot.
