There are great interactive CDs and DVDs now. Go to a guitar center or some such music store and check them out. Then practice HA!!

sorry mate, but practice is about the only way. I saw a video of Daron Malakian(System of a Down) who said that on a saturday or day off he'd lock himself in his room and just play, and he got really good! I do that now with my guitar and bass, and I've gotten good.

well, you could develop advanced technology to scan the brainwaves of famous players and transfer them to yourself, or you could work on improving your efforts at osmosis. Other than that, practice is the next easiest thing.

get lessons...otherwise ther is not other way...at least thats what my guitar teacher told me
