I have limewire but it has made my computer way to slow.
Can someone please give me a SAFE AND SECURE program where I can download music and it doesn't slow up my computer.

I use Soulseek.
Soulseek lets you search for files in multiple users as well as alert you when new, faster downloads are available. Its probably not the best one to use if you are in a hurry to get a certain song or file but Its the safest one I have found. No spyware and viruses to worry about like other download sites. Its totally free and easy to use.
Takes up very little space on the computer so your connections and activities stay fast.

Use bit torrents. You'll need a client and a few good sites to get the torrents from.

Download a program called, Ares
it will download anything, videos, music, software. Just unshare each time you download and you will be ok
it helps by unsharin stops people uploadin stuff

Go to google and type eMule. This is a program that you can download anything you want. Music, programs, anything! I never had problem with it! I think is the best. Have Fun!

I currently use mp3 Rocket...the music selection is a little more restricted but I have always been able to find what I was looking for at a responably fast speed.
