It would probably be better to go to the doctor in the first place. We can all suggest ideas but we wouldn't want you to prepare for something when the problem was something completely different. Also, finding out what the problem is is one of the major things that Doctors train for. But I think you could have just broken or fractured a minor bone on your wrist. I hope you get better soon! And good luck.

C'mon now, surely all you have to do is hold that wrist up to the front of your computer monitor and we all can have a look at it. We can decide if you have a sprain, a crack, a tear, a break, or a severe boo-boo.
Seriously now, don't you think you should go to a doctor for an expert opinion?

Maybe it's broke like jimmie johnson's wrist (nascar driver). Do not put a heating pad on anything that is swollen. Use some ice packs on it and take tylenol. Hope it feels better.

Hi, just because you can move it doesn't mean it's not broken, get it X-rayed and get some analgesia (Diclofenac is good)
