mm often thought about this q

depends on your own circumstances

Firstly find yourself another job if that is what you are looking to do!

Next walk into the boss and ask for a time to have a chat.

Then lay it down stating that you are looking at leaving and that he/ she will have a copy of your resignation by that afternoon. Also ask to have an exist interview so you can express your views etc on how they can improve on holding onto staff in future.

dont be mean if you dont have to because you may need to ask them to be references for you in th future.

Give them the resignation letter and your 2 weeks notice or whatever your company policy may be and then just simply clear out work space and move on with your life.

Type a resignation letter giving two weeks notice, thank the employer for giving you the opportunity to work there (do this in writing too), give them 2-weeks of hard work tying up loose ends and making lists of things for the next person to tackle.

Simple. submit your letter of resignation without anyone having a link of your thoughts and without much publicity. Act normal during the notice period if any.

Get all dressed up in your best, hold your head up high, walk in the bosses office with pomp and circumstance and with a resolved air of haughty authority say, I resign. Above all be extremely poised and dignified while Security escorts you to the exit door.

make sure you have a job to go to,talk to your boss that you are looking for another job and will let them know your plans, when you get the job,go back to your boss and give him/her your notice in written form,do it all officially.
Work your notice and on your last day say good bye to your boss, this way the doors always open if your new job doesnt work out

Could you be alittle more specific? I'm not sure what you're asking? I"m assuming from your job, but could you tell us alittle more about the situation?
