I don't know what ya'll are thinking.. but the Houston Astros are going to take the '07 Series. With Roy O., Jason Jennings, Woody, Chris Sampson, and Dave Borkowski leading the rotation and Burke, Berkman, Carlos Lee, Ensberg, and Luke Scott heading up the order, nothing will stop us. We'll take the NL Central, sweep the NLDS, take the NLCS in seven games, and win the WS in six games. The Astros will have at least 90 wins in the regular season.

The Kansas City Royals will beat the Pittsburgh Pirates in 7 games. Carlos Beltran and Johnny Damon will hit homeruns off of Jeff Suppan and win da series!
I think all the old players like Randy Johnson and Moises Alou and Barry Bonds will sustain life-threatening injuries and therefore their respective teams will fold like an origami umbrella.
I'm all for these third-tier teams rising up and taking control of a money grubbing, out-of-salary-controlled league!!! I'm putting a hundred dollars on the Royals and Pirates playing in the World Series in 3007!!!! YEAH!!!!

The Red Sox. With JD Drew hitting behind Manny and Big Papi, and with the return of John Lester and the addition of the pitcher from Japan, the Red Sox will be formidable and difficult to beat in 07.

It certainly won't be the Indians. I always hope that the Cubs will win a WS before my lifetime ends. Then again, if they expect to do much with that newly acquired pitcher who got a 6yr/$66mil contract . . . I would go for the Red Sox.

The Texas Rangers.
Why? Former Sound, Buck Showalter just got fired.
He managed the Yanks. He got fired. Yanks won the Series.
He managed the Diamondbacks. He got fired. Diamondbacks won the Series.
He managed the Rangers. He got fired...do the math.
To quote the local sports talk king, "Book it."

The Yankees will if they sign pitching. They easily have the best hitting team in the leauge. Since 2000 they have not made the playoffs just because of pitching. The cubs have made some big moves. But when it comes down to it Steinbrenner will sign pitching and i think the Yankees will.
