...would you look at them differently now that you know? Or would it not really bother you?

...say you've been best friends for at least 2-3 years....

if it depends on the crime...what would they have to do for you to look at them differently?

If they raped, commited murder, molestered a child or adult, attacked someone then I would not be friends with them anymore. I would also sleep with a tazer under my pillow in case they might try to do something to me.

Depending on the crime and how I felt about this friend, I wouldn't look at them differently but I would limit my time with them because of the fact that I don't want to be dragged down and I always look out for number one first.

Burned too many times to worry about others.

Just about everyone I know has commited some sort of serious crime and I dont judge them, as long as I or my family do not get hurt, then all is good.

It would depend on the crime, if a friend of mine had been convicted of child molestation or child abuse, I'd honestly have a hard time trying to see past that.

I don't exactly have a clean record myself, so I wouldn't hold some other kinds of crimes against anyone.

If there was an area with several stop-signed intersections a few miles up, all your friend had to do was drive a few miles up and alert someone to the fact that he suspected a drunk driver a few miles back. Instead he took the chance of killing someone he assumed was a drunk driver (no real proof) and took off not knowing if the driver was injured or dead. Your friend's an idiot.

Mmmm. That's a tough one. Once I love someone, it's hard for me to see bad in them. If they'd hurt an animal deliberately, I think that would do it. I wouldn't mind murder of a human as much, humans can defend themselves!

a crime is a crime and it makes your friend a criminal, do you want to be associated with criminals? if I had a friend like that IO would ask him to pay his debt to society first and then to look for me.

I would tell my friend, "How dare you commit a crime; Do you realize that wrong; I am not your best friend anymore!"
