Technically innovative or unexpected answers are fun to me, and lots of people have done very well with such answers. This is in response to many who think a fun answer is a humorous non-answer.

2nd Addendum: I'm referring to "Best Answers" as posted by Yahoo! Answers in a special category. There are not many posted to date, and they're usually boring.

Because their definition of fun is dull.

If you ask questions in the "science and mathematics" section, what do you expect? Fun???
I hope those people who ask questions really want an answer, so I try to do so to my best. If it is "boring", sorry, but the question, also, must have been boring...
However, why don't you ask questions in the "alternative" section of S & M? Some pretty funny answers...
However, a suggestion above to allow a vote for "the best (and correct) answer", and another vote for "the funniest (even if wrong) answer", is appealing.

Not all answers are directly proportionate to every question. But first, the Anatomy of a question must be examined.
What is a "question?" This is weird because one is forced to use the very entity being examined to examine the question of what a question is. This is an indication that there is something lacking in man's logic or his communication systems or both or something else.
The answer is within the answer...never the question. For if we answer before we are even asked, the answer is already there; isn't it? The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind, the answer is blowin' in the wind.
Hope you got your answer because I am not answering any more questions in this context nor am I questioning you any further.

Yahoo! doesn't pick the answers. Either the asker chooses the best answer, or it gets voted on by users. I'm not sure what you consider a 'technically inovative' answer, but it would seem most people have a different opinion about which answers are good.

It's called 'reality'. And, for all but a gifted few, reality tends to be pretty boring. So go out and enjoy your life, knowing that you're one of the majority. Just another 'sheeple' who thinks that reality is nothing more than a word and a vague concept.
