We've always woken up at my mothers house on Christmas morning, so Santa has always delivered presents there, but this year we aren't. We will be staying in a hotel. How should I handle this? Sant is getting her a bike, but that is too big to haul in the car to and from home (we are about 4 hours away from where we will spend Christmas) and we won't have a tree or anything at the hotel. We really don't want to spend the nights with family, YET AGAIN, but we don't want to make the drive on either holiday.

Any ideas?

You can leave your daughter's bike at home (in the cellar or garage along with a note on it saying that Santa knew that it wouldn't fit in your car, so Santa decided to leave it at home for her).

You can get a small artificial tree to carry along with you (don't let your daughter see it) and put it up in your hotel room after she goes to sleep. Put her presents around the small tree, along with a note telling your daughter that Santa left an extra special present for her at home, so she'll have something to look forward to when the holidays are over and you get home. You can explain to your daughter that Santa knows where everyone always is and the proof is in seeing, since he brought a tree and presents to the hotel.

Have a lovely rest of the day. Merry (Early) Christmas!

Have it waiting when you get home with a note attached from Santa saying "I knew this wouldn't fit in the car so I left it here for you"

Have a smaller gift from Santa either at the hotel or at the house you are celebrating the holiday with so they aren't freaked out that Santa didn't get them anything.

Merry Christmas!

Have a GREAT day!

spend your christmas as you had planned and when you get home you will find santa left the bike there because that is the address he has listed for her. So that way after she opens all her presents and think thats it, she will have a big surprise waiting at home. Don't take a pic as suggested by the other person and give it to her on xmas that will just spoil the surpise.

Buy a small hot wheels size bike and put a bow on it with a note saying that the big one is waiting at home for her. Or you could get her a Barbie and a Barbie Bike, this way she has something to play with now and has something to look forward to when she gets home.

And please make sure she has a helmet!

fairly, you're precise in some innovations. there became a guy named Saint Nicholas who lived some time previous, and fairly dropped off 3 luggage of gold at a guy's living house so as that he ought to marry off his daughters. it is resembling how "Santa Claus" supplies promises to children as we communicate. Saint Nicholas' call later advanced into Santa Claus (see a similar sounds?). in any case, you're precise in away.
