It depends on the girl, but if you are nice to them and treat them with dignity and respect thats a start. Just remember to be yourself, and not be too hard on yourself if you get let down, there are planty of other girls and it can take a long time to find the right one. Also, you can't really force someone to like you, either they do or they don't, and sometimes overtime peoples feelings change so just be a nice guy and be honest with them.
Also, don't sit back and procrastinate, tell them how you feel and take the risk, most girls like a confident guy...not an arrogant one, but just confident!

What makes a girl like you?
Well I'm a girl so I can help you out on this one.
You have to be polite and ofcourse respectful.You ca'nt make a girl like you--if she does'nt like you than she simply does'nt like you just take it as it is.
Sometimes we like for guys to just tell us if they like us because maybe that girl likes you too she just does'nt know if you like her.
Show her that you are into her and maybe ask her on a date. Please don't take her to McDonalds or any fast food restaurant.
Take her on a nice date maybe to Cheddars some place not too expencive. If you can't afford it than you're stuck buddy!!!

Your job, your money, and your ability to manage for long term or just just get dressed up like the guys on tv and talk about her for the short term.
P.S. You have to start with the short term first and work on the long term if you want to. Otherwise the short term approach will work with any of them.

P.S. A good girl can tell when a guy is being fake and its a turnoff!!

take this advice am a go up to her ask her what she likes like what is her fav flowers,book,subject in school you know stuff like that and then walk away. i saw this on DRAKE&JOSH that go up to her say you like her shoes,hair,skirt,dress,anything and walk away she will give you her phone number and then u can take it from there
