i read in a Carl Barat interview that he was The Libertine's ex singer?
is it true?

He was for a brief moment before they got big, wasnt he thrown out for drugs??!! How ironic!!

No, I think he was a stand in bassist before the libertines were signed.

he did a few tracks but he was not in the original band
