Are you talking about Melanie Foster? She gets hit in the head by Matthew, Betty's son. She was asian.
"Melanie Foster (deceased): Matthew's girlfriend when they lived in Chicago. Their relationship was quite dramatic -- they broke up and got together constantly. One day, Caleb tried to start a relationship with her, but Melanie laughed at him. As a result, Caleb supposedly killed her; when Betty and Matthew found this out, they fled to Wisteria Lane and imprisoned him in the basement to protect him from the law. Possibly related to Annabel Foster, since they share the same last name and both come from Chicago. It was later revealed that Matthew Applewhite was the one who killed Melanie. Caleb believed himself responsible because he had knocked her unconscious during a scuffle brought on by his confused attempt to woo her. Matthew found her after she recovered, and he killed her for trying to turn his family over to the police."
