How can I rid my internet of AOL they were canc long ago?

AOL comes up when I click on Internet explorer. instead of Yahoo
they were cancelled long ago when I called their office. It is really
aggravating as I cant access my ,mail with

Click Start
Click Search,
Click all files and folders
type acs.exe into the "what do you want to search for box"

Watch the dog blink stupidly, while pawing the ground for a moment or two, and wonder why MS includes such things....
It will probably find more than one instance of the file, as it is craptinually updated.
Right Click on each instance of the acs.exe & delete it.
Run winsockfixXP.exe; http://www.snapfiles.com/reviews/winsock...
To fully remove any tatters of such crappy coding from the TCP/IP stack

Thats it, No more Aol Connectivity Service(s) !

Go to control panel > add remove programs and remove AOL from your system. That should be it.
