Salvation Army, GoodWill, Area Churches with Clothes Closets, Women Shelters. You could check with a local DHHR and see what agencies accept donations.

Try your church. Most churches have something along the lines of a "Giving Tree". I know my church gathers food and clothing for local homeless shelters and women's shelters. Also, the Salvation Army takes most everything (its also a tax right off there)

Local Fire Dept would probably know of the best place to go. Local Red Cross, Salvation Army, Homeless Shelter

There are tons of places. Check with your local food pantry, churches, shelters, thrift stores, local news/newspaper's website and so on they will know who needs what in your community or who is collecting for donation. Also do a google search for your area.
Remember that it's not only during the holidays people need help.

If you have a local homeless shelter that is always good they are always in need of clothes, home items, toys etc...
you can find out where it is if you call the division of welfare in the phonebook most likely.
or you could take it to salvation army or savers (if you have one)

If you have a mall near you, they have these boxes in the parking lots and it says "clothing donation", there also.
