Which one is better, and how is the availability of a PS3?

I would have to say PS3 is the better choice, although you are going to be waiting.
The main reason for me saying this is the blueray feature. That makes the PS3 the cheapest blueray disc player on the market.
Not only that but PS3 is backward complatible to the PS1 meaning you can play all ps1 and 2 games on it.

The PS3 is, these days, pretty hard to get and costs about 700 bucks. It has good graphics and cool games. But the down side to this is that I think it was supposed to play all the PS games but it only plays the PS3. (You could also get shot trying to get one; I hear...)
The Xbox 360 on the other hand is more available than the PS3 because of its earlier release date. The Xbox costs more because you have to buy the case( $150 I guess) and then buy the hardware( $550 I guess). It, in my opinion has way better graphics then the PS3 and has really no problems about the game play. I think the only problem is that you need a really good television to play it because some people's t.v.'s have blown before.

i would think xbox 360 on the only fact that once you play a ps3 game on your ps3 you cannot play it on anyone else's. also there is no way you are going to get a ps3 until april at the least

i like my x box 360. it has been out longer( which means it has more of the bugs worked out of it.), it has more games for it, and it is more availble. I don't know much about the ps3 but i am not geting on untill it has been out for a year( that way most of the bugs are worked out). I plan on geting on evenutlly though, cause i already have the ps 1 and 2, and the xbox and xbox 360. might as well add another play station product. i like both xbox products and ps products

why in the world would you get a $600 dollar system when you could get 2 xbox 360 for 600 dollars but the 400 dollar xbox360 come with a lot of stuff but the ps3 comes with a wireless controler for 600 dollars

ps3 but only because that's what my boyfriend is getting for christmas.
haha Im not a gamer but from what I've read and seen plus my boyfriends talk, the ps3 blows away the 360...

I don't know which is better but the Xbox is cheaper and easier to get...it'll probably be summer before real people can get a PS3...

i've always liked the playstation system so i would have to say ps3. i mean the xbox360 is cool too but when that ps3 came out, everyone went crazy, people got hurt and it was more people trying to get the ps3 then the xbox360!!!
