im 15- my breasts are small (but thats just in my family- its not the problem) but my nipples are really big, they stick out really far and have no 'flat bit'. aparently this is a stage of breast development, but theyre really unatractive, and my friends breasts are fully formed. how long with this 'stage' last??

This advice won't help you right now because no one can really tell you how long things are going to stay 'awkward'. Everyone grows differently. Perfect example - I was known as the "carpenters dream" in highschool. (you know...flat as a board and never been screwed") My best friend was what I thought 'perfect'. She was a 36C in highschool and I was an 34A. We're 30 now....we've both had 2 kids....she's an A and I'm a C. Boobs will changed with age, they'll change with kids, they'll change with weight.....sadly there isn't a really set way to look at things which can be so discouraging at your age when everything needs to be black and white. Sorry I couldn't help more but don't worry - someday this stuff won't matter. :) (I wonder if you hate hearing that as much as I did when I was your age) :)

Everyones breast are different. Your at a stage in your life that your body is changing, don't worry about it and if it bothers you a lot ask your mom to take you to the GYN. I can't tell you how long it will take for full development.

If you are worried about your nipples sticking out you can try something called LilyPadz. Its normally for nursing mothers so they don't leak, but help immensely in making sure your nipples aren't sticking out.

You probably have until early 20's till you are done growing.

women's breasts have the potential to keep growing until 19 yo, however the shape of the nipple doesn't really change. your nipples probably just seem like they stick out b/c your breasts are not fully grown yet.

You may just naturally have large nipples and that's okay. If you are having a problem with them standing out in your clothing try a padded bra, this will help conceal them. Don't compare your self, you are how you are and that's the only way to be!

hey I think your lucky! Large nipples are very sexy and males adore them. Do you know that so called TV Celebs actually are told to let their nipples show through. Next time you watch tv, look carefully at the "celebs" . Really now it is very erotic and you should be flattered.

It could be a couple more years. Try underwire bras with thick formed cups, it will give them a rounded shape when you are wearing clothes. I used to wear maiden form t-shirt bras when i went through that.

Don't worry about it, I'm also a teenager and apparently you could carry on growing till your about 20 so you have loads of time. I'm nearly 17 and I'm still growing.

darling girl, do not worry about what your friends have (and why are you looking anyway?). everyone develops when they develop, in their own time and to their own shape. if they bother you, wear a thicker bra for a few months. it'll all be over by then

Why would you post a question like this for thousands of people to see?

Your boobs are your boobs and by 15 you have probably already developed enough and your stuck with them unless you go under the knife! But, who knows what future has in store for you...
