Why is it when you lose some things you can never find them?

one day at my house i was setting up the game life and my friend was holding the red car because she wanted to use it. when we started the game she could not find it. we looked all over my room. we can not find it still and it is a year later./

Yeah this seems to happen to me all the time. I wll be watching tv and go to get a snack or somthing and i will take the remote with me, but when i get back to my chair i dont have the remote. its somthing you do out of habbit so next time you walk off rember to leave whatever you have in your hand there.
