I am wanting to sell my motorcycle, but I am not sure when would be the best time to sell it. I was thinking March or April for the fair weather riders, but didn't know if maybe December would be better since it is Christmas time and all.... any ideas folks?

Depends on where in Texas here in central Texas I would say try for Christmas because it really doesnt get to cold here. It may for a week or so, but then it will be 80 the next week. If it doesnt sell in a few weeks then wait until after the new year like you said around April and give people time to get over Christmas. Good Luck

You can try for Christmas, might get a bite.
Don't know your weather. Up here we have cold and warm. Our best time to sell is in the Spring / Early summer. People really seem to get the bug just before Father's Day (bike week in Laconia). Some (like me) get bit even earlier.
I'm not shopping, I got two this year, one in April, the other in July.

Sell it at the beggining of the riding season, usually the spring. Warm weather coming and riders start thinking of getting a bike.

I find that the best time is just as the warm weather approaches here in australia.I assume this would apply world wide to be able to achieve the best price.

prices here are stable all year just think here it is December and the weather is perfect for riding. Just post your price and don't let anyone talk you down have a set minimum that you will accept and stick to it. GOOD LUCK

Down on the coast people begin looking in the spring, not that we have much of a winter.
A few people are out looking for small dirtbikes for their kids for Christmas.
