Get a second opinion, and if it's the same, have it removed. It's amazing what they can do surgically these days for this sort of problem. I know you don't want to risk losing your baby, but your life is also precious.

I am not sure to tell you what to do. But I did have a 7 cm cyst and they do hurt very badly, Mine ended up bursting. But the surgery does sounds very scary are they going to put you under? Did they say how that would effect the baby and you? But I would think it would be better to get something done now and not later when you might not have a choice on what to do. Best to get it taken care of now.

At only 13 weeks, I would go with the surgery now. Sounds like the risks are much less that way.

Ok you have to put it in the hands of professionals they know a lot more about it than you.
They have to tell you theres a risk because in todays sue everyone culture they are probably petrified if anything goes wrong. I would do my best to take their advice and co-operate with them.
I hope everything works out fine for you.

Usually when they say something is relatively safe, it is. We've had some scary news during my wife's pregnancy, and all the freaking out we did over what could go wrong was all for nothing.

hmm...interesting...I have two cyst one on each ovary...They developed while I was pregnant and my doctors said that they usually are no big deal. I would consider seeking another opinion.Especially since surgery at this stage is very risky for your baby!!!
